Overview of the Foundation

The Church of England Professional Qualification for Headship

The Church of England Professional Qualification for Headship (CofEPQH) provides a unique opportunity for professional, spiritual and personal development. Rooted in the Church's vision for education, this programme both provides rigorous preparation for leading a school and enables participants to support all staff and pupils to live 'life in all its fullness' (John 10:10). The programme will resonate with educators looking for a genuinely pupil focused approach, ensuring excellent academic outcomes and nurturing the whole child.

The programme is aimed at current headteachers (in post for two years or less), senior school leaders and aspiring headteachers. The programme is open to Church of England and community primary and secondary schools.

Please contact for an application form. Places are limited so you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Closing date for applications is 16th September 2016.
